THE OBJECTIVE
You are required to construct an apparatus that interacts directly with an existing object on your desk. The product must support some desktop accessory in a sleek and intuitive way. Lastly, you must employ a clamp mechanism in the product.
DESIGN CONCEPTS
I've considered making a phone stand, a business card holder, an earphone stand and many other ideas for this project. Due to the limited time and material as well as manufacturing techniques, I chose the business card holder at last.
I used spring as clamping mechanism due to its ease of manufacturing and use. I designed some C-shaped frames which are sticked to a semicircular base to hold and organize business cards.

FINAL PRODUCT
VIEW FLYER
The final product doesn't turn out as ideal as I expected. The part for business cards works well, however, the clamp mechanism isn't that functional due to some interference
